It's always so refreshing to see other people acknowledge the struggle that is new adult friendships. Despite living in such an allegedly "connected" world, we seem to feel lonelier than ever. Thanks for sharing this story of discovery. As someone who works from home, I'm seeking more ways to get out and interact with strangers. Hopefully, some of those strangers will become friends.
